Dinghy

Week 37. The calm before the storm to coin a sailing analogy. Over the coming weeks a number of projects are set to start. They include:- painting of the topsides; installation of the water-maker, generator and air con; wiring of the anchor windlass; rearranging the nav station to free up space for camera controls and SSB and finally fitting mast steps. Hopefully there is still room for the DIY jobs. Started this week end was the cleaning and restoration of the dinghy. After it was cleaned with "jiff" and lots of elbow grease the dinghy restorer was applied to the floats, it started to look very respectable. The port light openings have now been removed of all their old sealant and cleaned. I installed two in the forward section using arbomast and they look great. Only 7 to go.....
